Terms

Last updated 10 October 2026

These terms cover your use of the checkend.com website. Checkend and its owners operate this website (“we”, “us”). When you use the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

The Checkend software

Checkend is open-source software. The Apache License 2.0, not these terms, governs your use, change and distribution of the software. Under that license, the software comes “as is”, without warranties.

When you deploy Checkend, it runs in your own Cloudflare account. We do not operate it for you for self-hosted installs. You are responsible for:

A project in development

Checkend is in early development (public alpha). Features can change, arrive later or not arrive. The terminal sessions, issues, commits, charts and other examples on this website use sample data.

Use of this website

You can read, link to and share this website. Do not:

Website content

The content on this website is general information. We try to keep it accurate and current, but we do not promise that it is complete or correct. It is not legal, security or compliance advice.

Unless a page says otherwise, the text and images on this website belong to us. The code examples are free to copy.

This website links to other services, such as GitHub and Cloudflare. We do not control them, and their own terms apply when you use them.

Trademarks

Checkend and the Checkend logo are trademarks of Checkend and its owners. The Apache License does not grant rights to them, except as that license allows to describe the origin of the software.

Sentry, Cloudflare, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other names on this website are trademarks of their owners. We use them only to say which tools Checkend works with. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any of them.

No warranty

We provide this website “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profit or business, that comes from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not let us limit.

Governing law

The laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there govern these terms. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them, unless the law of your country gives you the right to go to your local courts.

Changes to these terms

We can change these terms. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page. If you continue to use the website after a change, the new terms apply.
