Account Settings
Manage your profile, password, and active sessions.
Profile Settings
Access your profile settings by clicking on your avatar in the sidebar or navigating to Settings → Profile.
The profile page displays:
- Your email address
- Admin badge (if you're a site administrator)
- Password management
- Active sessions
Password Security
Checkend enforces strong password security measures:
Password Requirements
- Minimum 8 characters
- Cannot reuse your last 5 passwords
Changing Your Password
To change your password:
- 1 Go to your profile page and click on the Password card
- 2 Enter your current password — it will be verified in real-time
- 3 Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters)
- 4 Confirm your new password
- 5 Click Update Password when all validations pass (green checkmarks)
The password form shows real-time validation feedback. A green checkmark appears when each field is valid, and a red X appears when validation fails. The submit button remains disabled until all validations pass.
Session Management
The Active Sessions section on your profile page shows all devices where you're currently signed in.
Session Information
Each session displays:
- Device type — Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone, iPad, Android
- Browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Opera
- IP address — The IP address used to sign in
- Last activity — When the session was last active
Revoking Sessions
You can revoke sessions to sign out from specific devices:
- Revoke individual sessions — Click the Revoke button next to any session (except your current one)
- Revoke All Other — Click this button to terminate all sessions except your current one
You cannot revoke your current session from this page. To sign out of your current session, use the Sign out button in the sidebar.
Security Best Practices
- Use a strong, unique password that you don't use on other sites
- Regularly review your active sessions and revoke any you don't recognize
- If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and revoke all other sessions
- Always sign out when using shared or public computers
